Skin care in the sauna with a sauna peeling

Skin care and sauna go well together and peeling is particularly effective while you sweat in the sauna. The high temperatures in the sauna ensure that blood circulation in the skin is improved. This means the skin is better supplied with oxygen and nutrients. The pores also open so that accumulated dirt and pollutants can be flushed out. While these effects begin from the inside out, skin care can also be supported from the outside with a peeling. The skin is receptive to the cleansing effect of the small crystals in the peelings and dead skin cells can be easily removed. This promotes skin renewal and gives the skin a healthy glow and a fine-pored structure. Sauna peelings are popular in public saunas and can of course also be used in the sauna cabin at home. Salt is a popular peeling that is often given in public saunas with the final infusion from the sauna master. The sauna salt can be sea salt or Himalayan salt, which usually has nourishing oils added. For normal skin, a sauna peeling with salt is effective and beneficial. However, if you suffer from very dry skin or often experience itching, you should avoid the sauna salt and instead use a gentler peeling that is better suited to your skin type.

Using a sauna peeling is quite easy. First, you make two to three infusions so that the skin is ideally prepared for the peeling due to sweating, high temperatures and high humidity. The peeling is then massaged into the entire body in gentle movements. You should not treat your face with the body peeling as the grain size is too coarse for sensitive facial skin. If the sauna is equipped with wooden benches, you should apply the peeling outside to protect the benches. However, in a tiled sauna you can also easily apply it to the seat in the sauna. Then you let the peeling absorb a little in the warmth of the sauna. If you use salt, the peeling should be washed off more quickly, at the latest when there is a feeling of tension on the skin. The sauna peeling is then rinsed off the skin with sufficient amounts of fresh water. Finally, we recommend applying a moisturizing lotion.

An alternative to sauna salt is sauna honey, which is becoming increasingly popular among sauna goers. Sauna honey is a product that is specifically made for use as a peeling in the sauna. Different herbs are often added to create a particularly pleasant aroma. You don't have to worry about the honey being sticky and chewy. The warmth and sweat of the body make the honey liquid and smooth, so it is very easy to apply and can quickly be absorbed deeply into the skin. However, as with salt, you should apply the honey outside the sauna if it is equipped with wooden benches. The honey can be applied after a short period of pre-sweating. You can then end the sauna session with the honey applied. A large part of the honey is absorbed into the skin through the opened pores. The residue that remains on the skin can then be rinsed off with water in the shower. The skin retains a gentle scent and feels wonderfully soft.

In the sauna online shop you can buy both sauna salt and sauna honey cheaply. There is quite a large selection available. The sauna salt, for example, is offered enriched with other components. Jojobal oil, vitamin E and honey are among the most commonly used additives. These nourish the skin and make the salt also suitable for dry, sensitive skin. Sauna supplies also include peeling gloves, which are perfect for working the sauna peeling into the skin. The gloves are characterized by a special structure that helps open the pores and promote good blood circulation. They make applying a peeling much easier, so it's worth buying them online from the sauna shop if you plan to use a sauna peeling the next time you go to the sauna. If you go to the sauna regularly, you should definitely benefit from the peelings. In just a short time you will notice that your skin looks much more beautiful and that you can be proud of.
