Sauna crystals

Sauna crystals for a very special sauna experience

If you have a sauna cabin, you can always organize your sauna session in a different way if you have different sauna needs. Sauna crystals, for example, provide a popular variety. Anyone who has experience with saunas likes to use menthol crystals for the infusions. The effect is uniquely fresh and also healthy. Most of us are familiar with menthol. These are essential oils that are obtained from herbs such as peppermint, oregano, basil or thyme. The fragrance of these oils has a strong disinfectant effect, which is why it is also used in medicine to treat respiratory diseases. However, only a few people know that the crystals can be used as an infusion in the sauna. These sauna crystals are available quite cheaply in the sauna online shop. The best crystals are made from pure peppermint oil and have an intoxicating scent, which also makes the sauna session a pleasure for the sense of smell.

Sauna crystals offer various benefits. Menthol is healthy for the respiratory tract because it has a disinfectant effect. If you have a cold or a stuffy nose, a sauna session like this is particularly beneficial and can help alleviate the symptoms. In addition, the crystals are quite easy to handle. You can place them on the sauna stones, where they melt during the sauna session and spread their pleasant aroma. The dry use ensures a wonderfully fresh sauna climate even without water infusions. However, you should exercise caution so that the crystals do not lie on the heating coil. This could lead to a flash fire.

An infusion can be prepared quite easily with the sauna crystals. However, it is important to find just the right dosage. This can usually be found in the package description. If too many crystals are used, it can irritate the respiratory tract. You can use the crystals with the water infusion method or as a dry infusion. For example, you can place the crystals in a ladle and pour water over them. But it is also possible to add a few of the crystals to the infusion water.

With the dry infusion method, you choose a few small crystals and place them directly on the sauna stones. Alternatively, you can also put them in a vaporizer bowl instead of placing them directly on the stones. The number of crystals you use depends primarily on the size of the sauna, but also on how intense you want the scent. Sauna crystals are extremely intense, so you should use them as sparingly as possible. In a small sauna cabin, just a pinch of the crystals can be completely sufficient for an infusion. Therefore, a pack of sauna crystals also produces infusions for numerous sauna sessions. The dry infusion method makes it possible to enjoy the benefits of the crystals even if you cannot tolerate the high humidity that arises from infusions with water.
The sauna crystals with their menthol smell always ensure a particularly fresh sauna experience, regardless of which of the two infusion methods you choose.
You can buy the sauna crystals online in different packaging sizes. The most common sizes are 50, 100 and 200 grams. It is best to buy the crystals in a sealable package so that you can store them for a long time without the aroma dissipating.

An excellent idea is also to purchase a sauna set for infusions. With a set like this you can benefit from four different scents and thus create a different sauna experience every time. Fragrance notes may include ice lime, birch, ice mint and pine. With this scent you can bring Finnish nature home into the sauna cabin. However, there are also other scents that are also fascinating. Incidentally, such a sauna set is also a wonderful gift idea for anyone who has a sauna cabin at home. You can buy the crystals quite cheaply in the sauna shop. They are one of the sauna essentials that you should treat yourself to if you have your own sauna at home. The essential oils have a positive effect on health and also contribute to relaxation in the sauna. You should take a look at the selection of crystals online and simply buy a pack to experience the effect of an infusion with crystals for yourself.
